Mission
The Courant/Fox 61 Children's Holiday Campaign Fund brings relief to the most vulnerable children, youth, and families in our state, those who have the least when it comes to nutrition, wellness, and education.
Grants are made in response to applications from 501(c)(3) organizations addressing the priority program interests detailed in the Primary Interests section.
There is no guarantee for annual support. Generally, grantees will not receive more than one grant for three consecutive years.
Primary Interests
- Basic needs such as food, clothing, and housing for children and families
- Family Health Services
- Education programs for Connecticut youth, including mentoring and literacy initiatives.
Geographic Priority
The state of Connecticut (excluding Fairfield County).
The McCormick Foundation does not make grants to programs that would financially benefit the Tribune Company or any of its subsidiaries.
