Guidelines
Grants are made from the
Denver Post Season To Share Fund in response to applications with 501(c)(3) status from organizations serving the people or addressing the priority program interests detailed in the Primary Interests section.
Primary Interests
Children: Child Care, Early Intervention, Abuse Prevention, Recreation
Hunger: Food Banks, Prepared Meals
Homelessness: Day Drop-In Centers, Overnight Shelters, Transitional Housing
Indigent: Basic Care, Crisis Intervention
Geographic Priority
Primary: Metropolitan Denver
Application Procedures
All requests for support require a completed application form to be received at the address listed above. To request an application, please provide a letter of
intent of no more than two pages that outlines your organization's mission and/or
programs and how this mission and/or programs fit with Denver Post Season To Share's
guidelines. This letter should be on the organization's letterhead. Please also
provide a copy of the organization's most recent audit or 990.
There is no guarantee of annual support. Also, generally, grantees will not receive more than three consecutive grants.
The McCormick Foundation does not make grants to programs that would financially benefit
The Denver Post, the Denver Newspaper Agency, or any of its subsidiaries.
