Guidelines
Grants will be made from the Sun-Sentinel Children's Fund to organizations with 501(c)(3) status serving South Florida with emphasis on Broward and Palm Beach counties that help low income children and families in response to applications for the following areas of support:
- Food, shelter and emergency assistance
- Mental / physical health programs
- Abuse and neglect prevention
- Education and cultural arts programs
Application Procedures
All requests for support require a completed application form to be received by the deadlines listed herein. There is no guarantee of annual support. Applicants may only receive one grant per calendar year, except in the event of a holiday request. The McCormick Foundation does not make grants to programs that would financially benefit the Tribune Company or any of its subsidiaries.
