Cantigny Bridal Show Set for January 31
WHEATON, IL, January 12 2010
Brides-to-be and their guests are invited to the second annual Cantigny Bridal Show on Sunday, Jan. 31, from 11 am to 3 pm. The event will take place at Le Jardin, the restaurant and banquet room adjacent to the Cantigny Visitors Center.
“Cantigny has always been a popular venue for weddings and receptions,” said Mike Machay, director of food and beverage. “The opening of Le Jardin in 2008, located just steps away from Cantigny’s spectacular gardens, really expanded our capabilities. Combined with the Red Oak Room at Cantigny Golf, we offer brides and grooms more choices than ever.”
At the show, brides can finalize plans for their special day all in one place, or just gather ideas. Many of Cantigny’s preferred wedding vendors will be showcased—photographers, engravers, formal wear, ice sculptors, limos, florists, DJs, hotels and more. Guests will also view simulated room set-ups and table décor.
Cantigny’s award-winning culinary team will sample a wide range of menu items, including soups, hors d’oeuvres, entrees, late night snacks, dessert/pastry table and wedding cake. Wine and champagne will also be served.
Many couples choose to have their wedding ceremonies in the beautiful formal gardens that surround Le Jardin. The restaurant itself is ideal for receptions for up to 250 guests. At Cantigny Golf, couples may exchange vows on a terrace with panoramic views and then enjoy their reception in the elegant Red Oak Room, which accommodates 150 guests.
The Cantigny Bridal Show is complimentary for brides who are already booked at Cantigny, and each may bring one guest free of charge. The cost for others is $18 per person.
Advance registration is requested by Friday, Jan. 22, at 630 260 8268 or via e-mail to
