Cantigny Park Announces Summer Programs for Kids

Cantigny Park will offer a wide range of summer classes and events just for kids, beginning in June. Activities are available for infants, toddlers and children up to 12 years old. Registration is now open and may be completed online at Cantigny.org or by calling 630 260 8162.

Abrakadoodle (art classes)
  • Twoosy Doodlers, ages 20-36 months Mondays: June 7-July 12 or July 26-August 30 9:30 am-10:15 am $70 per 6-week session
  • Mini Doodlers, ages 3-6 years Mondays: June 7-July 12 or July 26-August 30 10:30 am-11:15 am $70 per 6-week session
  • Kids on Canvas, ages 6-8 and 9-12 Mondays: June 7-June 28 or July 26-August 16 11:30 am-12:30 pm (ages 6-8) 12:45 pm-1:45 pm (ages 9-12) $96 per 4-week session

Tea Parties at the Robert R. McCormick Museum
  • Teddy Bear Tea Party, ages 5-8 June 22, 2-4 pm, $16
  • Mother-Daughter Tea, ages 6-12 August 10, 2-4 pm, $20 per couple

Camp Cantigny
  • For kids entering grades 2-5
  • Five days: July 26-30, 9 am-12 pm, $105

Music Together
  • For ages birth to kindergarten
  • Six Tuesdays: July 6-August 10
  • Choose 9:15-10 am, 10:15-11 am or 11:15-12 pm
  • First child $105; siblings over 9 months $55; siblings under 9 months free

Craft Classes
  • Trash to Treasure, ages 6-10 June 17, 1-3 pm, $7
  • Needle Felting, ages 8 and up June 26, 2-4 pm, $55
  • Gone Buggy! Ages 5-8 June 29, 10 am-12 pm, $10
  • Birds of a Feather, ages 6-10 July 13, 10 am-12 pm, $7

Full class descriptions are available at Cantigny.org. Except as noted, all programs take place at Cantigny’s new Outdoor Education Center. Parking at Cantigny is free for those attending fee-based programs. For free programs, the regular parking fee applies ($5 per vehicle).
