Cubs Care, a fund of the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, is committed to improving the lives of underserved youth, adults and families across Chicagoland by providing opportunities allowing them to thrive and succeed.

The Letter of Inquiry process is currently open for Cubs Care for the 2014 grantmaking cycle until June 25th, 2013 at 5:00/central.

 In 1990, the Chicago Cubs expanded its commitment to help those in need in Chicagoland and partnered with the Robert R. McCormick Foundation to establish Cubs Care, a McCormick Foundation Fund.

Cubs Care is committed to helping those less fortunate improve their lives and strengthen children and families. With the generous support of fans, donors and matching funds provided by the McCormick Foundation, grants are made to qualified nonprofit organizations with programs that concentrate on youth sports; child and youth education; health and wellness.

Since inception, more than $18 million has been granted through Cubs Care, making a positive impact in the lives of thousands of disadvantaged children and families every year.
