The Robert R. McCormick Foundation has issued a Request for Ideas to individuals and organizations interested in helping to discover Why News Matters. The application, due April 2, 2012, is now live and can be accessed online.
In March, we will be hosting two in-person informational sessions and a webinar about our news literacy initiative, Why News Matters. Program staff will also be available to answer your questions at the following informational sessions and online Q&A events.
You must register to attend these events. In-person events will be capped at 20 participants. For those who are unable to attend, the sessions will be video recorded and posted for later viewing.
