Chicago Bulls Community Assist Fund

The Chicago Bulls Community Assist Fund, a fund of the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, is committed to helping underserved Chicago at risk youth by funding nonprofit organizations in Chicago.

History

Since 2009, more than $2.5 million in grants have been distributed through the Chicago Bulls Community Assist Fund, a McCormick Foundation Fund, improving the lives of those in need in our community.

Issue Areas

The Chicago Bulls Community Assist Fund supports education in

  • 3rd grade reading proficiency
  • Middle-to-High School Transition
  • Access to and persistence in post-secondary education

The Chicago Bulls Community Assist Fund supports health & wellness in

  • Community health centers
  • School-based health centers
  • Childhood obesity prevention & treatment

McCormick Match

The McCormick Foundation matches all donations to the Chicago Bulls Community Assist Fund at fifty cents on the dollar. With the Chicago Bulls and the Foundation paying all campaign and administrative expenses, one hundred percent of all donations, plus the match is granted to qualified nonprofit organizations.

 

The McCormick Foundation does not make grants to programs that would financially benefit the Chicago Bulls.
