How We Use Data

The Robert R. McCormick Foundation uses data to make informed choices and measure impact. We collect and analyze information to support our partners and hold ourselves accountable to creating lasting, positive impact through our investments.

Our community partners need data that is specific to their neighborhoods and their priorities to achieve their goals. To support their work, we have commissioned a dashboard that pulls data from a range of sources and creates a single destination with key educational and economic statistics.

We share our data sources below to support other efforts to build thriving communities and spark collaboration.

Chicago Data Hub

The Chicago Data Hub measures statistics in dozens of categories and allows users to see the data in the context of other neighborhoods and the city as a whole. Explore key trends, economic health, education, economic security and more with this fully interactive analytics platform.
