Since 2009, more than $3.9 million in grants have been distributed through the Chicago Bulls Community Assist Fund, a McCormick Foundation Fund, improving the lives of those in need in our community.
The Chicago Bulls Community Assist Fund supports education, community investment, health and wellness, and youth opportunity organizations.
McCormick Match
The McCormick Foundation matches funds raised at 50 cents on the dollar. We pay all campaign and administrative expenses, so one hundred percent of all donations, plus the match is granted to qualified nonprofit organizations.

Our Grants Support
After School All-Stars (ASAS Chicago)
ASAS Chicago provides free, comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and life. Their “We Are Ready” program supports 6th, 7th and 8th graders as they prepare to transition to high school and take larger roles in determining their educational paths.
After School Matters
An out-of-school apprenticeship program led by industry experts that provides a pathway to progress in skills development and independence. Final projects increase in complexity across the apprenticeship levels so teens have the opportunity to expand their skills.
Ann & Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital
Lurie Children’s Mentorship and Workforce Development program will provide Chicago students with leadership development, real-world healthcare industry exposure, training workshops, and networking opportunities through internships, apprenticeships, and educational opportunities.
Garfield Park Rite to Wellness Collaborative
The Rite to Wellness Campaign works to improve the quality of life and sense of community of individuals and families living in Garfield Park through health and wellness initiatives and awareness campaigns.

The McCormick Foundation matches all donations at 50% and covers all administration fees, so your entire donation, plus the match will be granted to qualified nonprofit organizations that fit the Chicago Bulls Community Assist Fund’s Issue Areas:

The McCormick Foundation does not make grants to programs that would financially benefit the Chicago Bulls.
