Partnership Focus
Since 2010, A Better Chicago has supercharged the most promising nonprofits helping children escape poverty by providing unrestricted funding and management support. Together with the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, the venture philanthropy invests in programs on the South and West sides that support academic and social growth, while keeping youth safe and meeting their essential needs.
McCormick Match
The McCormick Foundation matches funds raised at 50 cents on the dollar. We pay all campaign and administrative expenses, so one hundred percent of all donations, plus the match is granted to qualified nonprofit organizations.

provides low-income community college students with wraparound services to help them learn the academic, personal, professional, and financial skills to persist through school and enter the workforce prepared for mobility and economic empowerment.
Chicago Scholars
is a seven-year college access, success, and leadership development program for financially under-resourced and first-generation Chicago students.
College Possible
empowers students from underserved communities to enroll in college, thrive, complete their degree, and transition into the workforce.
Austin Childcare Providers Network
46 family child care providers and seven center-based daycare facilities engage providers and communities in advocacy and educational work.
