About the Campaign
WGN-TV will be honoring Hispanic Heritage Month beginning Monday, September 15th, and raising funds to benefit Yollocalli Arts Reach, an initiative of the National Museum of Mexican Art that strengthens the creative and cultural capital of teens and young adults in Little Village and Pilsen.
WGN sponsors and viewers are invited to make monetary donations through the WGN-TV Family Charities Fund to support Yollocalli’s youth programming and all donations will be matched at 50% by the Robert R. McCormick Foundation.
McCormick Match
The McCormick Foundation matches funds raised at 50 cents on the dollar. We pay all campaign and administrative expenses, so one hundred percent of all donations, plus the match is granted to qualified nonprofit organizations.

About Yollocalli Arts Reach
Yollocalli Arts Reach, an award-winning youth initiative of the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago, empowers teens and young adults—especially in Little Village and Pilsen—to explore their creativity, embrace their cultural identities, and become active community members.
Serving youth ages 13 to 24, Yollocalli offers free access to studio spaces, radio production labs, digital media programs, and mentorship from a dedicated, caring, and creative team. Beyond building artistic skills, it provides a safe space for growth, learning, and leadership development—preparing young people for successful futures.
Based in the Yollocalli Fire Station—a renovated firehouse in the heart of Little Village—the center also serves as a vibrant community hub, offering programs for adults, seniors, and families throughout the neighborhood.
